About Joan

Joan studied Massage Therapy at Parkland College in Champaign, a 750-hour course of training, which provided a solid grounding in Swedish Massage, and a number of other topics including Deep Tissue work and Chair Massage. After graduation, she sat for exams to become nationally certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Joan is licensed by the State of Illinois.

As a former computer-jockey, Joan has personal experience in the agonies resulting from sitting hunched over a keyboard for long hours, and battling the stress of meeting project deadlines.
