While graduation from a particular structural integration training program certifies a person in that "flavor" of structural integration, and often provides an active association to stay connected with other graduates, there is also a meta-organization that is working to develop connections between the graduates of different schools and enhance the profession of Structural Integration as a whole.
In order to join the association as a Professional Structural Integrator or to sit for the certification exam, the school where you got your training must be IASI approved. International Association of Structural IntegratorsFounded in 2002, and based in Missoula Montana, IASI was formed to unite Structural Integrators of all schools under an umbrella organization to advance structural integration as a whole and to ameliorate the factionalism of years past. In order to join the association as a Professional Structural Integrator the school where you got your training must be IASI approved, which is discussed in the next article (Structural Integration Education: IASI Listed Schools). While the majority of members in IASI are practicing Structural Integrators, anyone over the age of 18 with an interest in Structural Integration is welcome to join. Besides the level of Professional Structural Integrator, described above, students in approved schools can join as Candidate members, anyone else can join as a Supporting Member. Here is the page for joining: http://www.theiasi.org/join.php The Certification Exam for Structural IntegratorsThe exam is open to all practitioners who have graduated from an IASI-approved training in Structural Integration. |
